Asus released in Korea its three new notebooks based on Penryn platform: F8Sn, F8Sp, and W7Sg.
The F8Sn is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor and 3GB of DDRII-667 memory while the F8Sp is equipped with ATI Radeon HD 3650 and 1GB of RAM. Other features of both two models included 14.1" wide screen, 1.3MP video camera and an integrated fingerprint recognition sensor.
Asus W7Sg is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 processor, 2GB of memory and 250GB HDD. W7Sg is designed with white pearl color with blue LED touch pad.
Lenovo announced the availability of the winner of three Best-of-Show awards at the CES 2008 IdeaPad U110 ultra-portable notebook featuring an 11.1" display, Intel's Centrino technology and a starting weight of 2.5 pounds. The new fashion-oriented ultraportable from Lenovo is available in red and black, both starting at $1,899.
The IdeaPad U110 features striking red or black cover finished in textured metal for an eye-catching design. The glossy lid, frameless screen and less than 2.5 pounds body make it one of the sleekest notebook around. The two offered Lenovo IdeaPad U110 models include the Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 low-voltage processor at 1.6GHz, the Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics, 2GB of system memory, a 120GB hard drive spinning at 4,200rpm, and an external DVD burner, since the notebook does not incorporate a built-in optical drive. The notebook's 11.1" widescreen display with LED backlighting has a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. Dolby Home Theatre and the MultiMedia Control Center features are first to be seen in a notebook of this size.
Dell today announced its redesigned Vostro notebook line for small businesses, which are thinner and lighter than previous generation Vostro notebooks. The new line includes 13.3" Vostro 1310 starting at $749 and 15.4" Vostro 1510 starting at $599.
Dell says the new notebooks feature enhanced security options such as fingerprint readers, Trusted Platform Module 1.2, cable lock slot and factory-installed security software. The notebooks are fitted with only the software you need, so there is no trialware preinstalled. Dell also offers free services including 10GB of Dell DataSafe Online Backup, Network Assistant and PC TuneUp.
Both notebooks come with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of system memory, a slot-load optical drive, as well as with Windows XP or Windows Vista preinstalled.
MSI has announced the introduction of the GX600-Enhanced gaming notebook. Based around the GX600 gaming notebook, the Enhanced version comes with updated hardware, including a 45nm Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 processor at 2.4GHz, 3GB DDR2 RAM and a 320GB hard drive.
Equipped with MSI's exclusive Turbo Drive Engine technology which increases the CPU's speed by 20% with the touch of a button, the GX600-Enhanced laptops have 3GB of DDR2 RAM (up from 2GB), and 320GB hard drives (up from 250GB).
