
Samsung announced MacBook Air & ThinkPad X300 competitor - the X360, Centrino 2 powered ultra-portable PC.
The X360 is around 0.66-1.2" thick and weights 2.8 lbs (1.27 kg). Display size is 13.3", LED-backlit, 1280 x 800 pixels. It will feature ULV Intel processor, Centrino 2 chipset, integrated GMA X4500 graphics, up to 4GB of RAM, 120GB 5,400RPM HDD or 64/128GB SSD.
There’s no optical drive, but you get three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, VGA, a 7-in-1 card reader, PCI ExpressCard/34, ethernet and a docking port. Connectivity includes WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR, but no built-in 3G. There’s also a 1.3-megapixel webcam. Battery life is claimed to be between 6-10 hours.
