Toshiba has announced updates to their flagship lineup of gaming notebook series - the Satellite X205. The new Satellite X205s come with the 45nm mobile "Penryn" Core 2 Duo processors and Nvidia SLI technology.

The SLI featured on the Satellite X205-SLI notebooks is of twin Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT with 512MB GDDR3 memory. To provide gamers with optimum storage, the Satellite X205 series incorporates dual hard drives totaling a massive 320GB. Also, the Satellite X205-SLI4 hard drives spin at 7200 RPM ensuring that gamers can get right into the thick of action of their favorite games and movies.

Toshiba’s Satellite X205-SLI notebooks also include a next-generation HD DVD drive to provide users with an amazing HD viewing experience either at 720p on the built-in high-definition 17" diagonal widescreen display or through the built-in HDMI port at 1080i on an external high definition TV.
