Frontier has unveiled yet another MacBook Air killer. The lightweight FRNL sub-notebook is not just elegant, but it's one of the die-hard notebooks that can resist to water spills and huge pressure. The FRNL weighs just 1.25kg and is slightly larger than Apple's MacBook Air – 296x308x209mm as compared to Air's 227x194x325mm.
Its sleek case can resist up to 120kg of pressure without cracking, bending or deforming the computer's internals. It can stand a 76cm fall without taking any damage.
The FNRL is powered by an Intel A110 CPU running at 800Mhz and comes with 1GB RAM. The 12.1" LED backlit LCD can deliver SXGA resolutions at a maximum 1280x1024 pixels.
Other goodies included into the die-hard notebook are an 80GB HDD, and WiFi in a, b, and g flavors. It also has Ethernet, a Modem, a PCMCIA card slot, a card reader for what looks like CF and then another for SD, 3 USB ports, VGA out, and audio in and out.
